The Paducah Area Christmas Cops, Inc. program, in conjunction with the Paducah Police Department, McCracken County Sheriff’s Department, Kentucky State Police and Kentucky Probation and Parole District 1 will host approximately 20 families and 50 children for the 32nd annual Christmas Cops program on Saturday, December 15th.

Families will be treated to a day of shopping with officers from the participating departments. The program will begin at 8:00 am Saturday morning at the Paducah Police Department. Transportation for the day will be provided by McCracken County Schools, and C.S.I., Inc. will be providing vans to transport the families’ purchases. The shopping will start at Wal-Mart on Irvin Cobb Drive, followed by lunch at Walker Hall in downtown Paducah. After lunch, the families will be taken to Kroger on Irvin Cobb Drive to shop for groceries.

Each family is allowed to spend $175.00 per child on toys and/or clothes, and $200.00 on groceries.

The program is funded by local individuals and area business donors.
