Early voting concluded in Kentucky on Saturday, and a significant portion of McCracken County voters took advantage.
McCracken County Clerk Jamie Huskey told West Kentucky Star that 10,131 of McCracken County's 59,087 registered voters went to the polls early, or just over 17 percent.
Voters had two locations available to cast ballots on Thursday, Friday and Saturday; 3,065 voted at the McCracken County Courthouse, while 4,546 voters did so at West Kentucky Community and Technical College.
Huskey added that 1,796 of 2,338 absentee ballots were also returned.
