A Shepherdsville man was charged in Livingston County after allegedly being found with multiple baggies of meth and marijuana.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office went Golden Meadow Drive in Ledbetter to serve a parole violation warrant on William Dale Dixon.
Deputies saw Dixon standing next to an SUV and arrested him without incident. While placing Dixon under arrest, deputies smelled marijuana inside the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle located a bag containing six baggies of methamphetamine, two syringes and a baggie of marijuana.
Deputies also seized $1,240 in cash on Dixon’s person, believed to be proceeds from trafficking in meth.
Dixon’s charges include trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and parole violations.
