Livingston County Sheriff's deputies arrested a wanted man outside his home and nabbed another wanted man for drugs.
Deputies took 56-year-old Lawrence Ellis into custody on Sunday along Depot Road in Grand Rivers outside his home. He was wanted in connection to a domestic situation that occurred in July. Ellis is now charged with assault, terroristic threatening, menacing, and wanton endangerment.
The encounter with Ellis led to another arrest, as well. Reportedly, drug paraphernalia with what was believed to be methamphetamine was located. After allegedly first falsely identifying himself, deputies arrested 36-year-old Ryan Ballard.
Ballard was charged with methamphetamine possession and providing false identifying information. He also had three outstanding warrants out of McCracken County.
