A Hopkinsville man has learned his sentence following conviction in a meth distribution case. 

The U.S. Attorney's Office said that 42-year-old Daniel Champion of Hopkinsville will serve ten years in federal prison and another five years of supervised release after being convicted of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Champion was arrested in Christian County on June 29th, 2021, and reportedly was found with over 50 grams of methamphetamine.  

Champion was sentenced on Tuesday. There is no parole in the federal system.
