Funds sought to renovate kitchen at Kentucky Sheriff's Boys and Girls Ranch

In preparation for the 50th anniversary of the Kentucky Sheriff's Boys and Girls Ranch at Gilbertsville, a fundraising project is underway to replace their kitchen and dining facility.

The aging kitchen was constructed more than 70 years ago and is in critical need of renovation.

They have already received a $35,000 gift from Kosair for Kids, and additional contributions from other groups and events including the Kuttawa Cannonball Run.

The Deputy Sheriffs’ Associates Lodge #25 has also pledged to match future donations up to $20,000.
