Storm survey confirms EFO tornado in Calloway County Saturday

A storm survey by the National Weather Service in western Calloway County.has confirmed that an EF0 tornado touched down briefly on Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service in Paducah confirmed on Sunday that the small twister touched down between Lynn Grove and Murray at around 10:24 am. 

It damaged farm buildings, roofing and fences as it tracked for less than a mile. The highest wind speed recorded from it was estimated at 85 miles per hour.  

It was from the same line of storms that had earlier spawned an EF0 tornado at 9:47 am in northeastern Graves County near Symsonia.
