Kentucky State Police are now investigating the three vehicle collision that occurred in Ballard County on Friday that was the result of a suspect pursuit that began in McCracken County.
Troopers were notified of the pursuit just before 9 am as they received a request from the McCracken County Sheriff's Office to be on the lookout for a suspect of multiple violent felony offenses in reference to an ongoing investigation of an incident that had occurred earlier that morning. The pursued vehicle was identified as a 2018 Toyota Camry being operated by 24-year-old Noah Driver.
Troopers were then notified around 9:30 am that officers from the Paducah Police Department located Driver's vehicle and were in pursuit. Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office maintained lead of the pursuit as it entered Ballard County on US 60.
Troopers said the pursued Toyota Camry was traveling westbound on US 60. Driver's vehicle struck the rear driver's side of a Cadillac XTS, driven by 51-year-old Christopher Hargrove, causing the Cadillac to overturn into the parking lot of a La Oasis Gas Station.
Both Hargrove and his passenger, 48-year-old Kelley Long of Kevil, were transported by Air Evac to an out of state hospital.
After hitting the Cadillac, Driver's vehicle then veered into the eastbound lane of travel, striking a Nissan Rouge driven by 78-year-old Rebecca Clark of Ellington, MO. The Nissan came to final rest in the ditch on the south side of the roadway while Driver's Toyota came to final rest in the parking lot of La Oasis.
Both Clark and her passenger, 78-year-old Kenneth Clark, were transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
Driver was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released for minor injuries.
Troopers said the Toyota Camry Driver was operating was stolen, along with a firearm that he was in possession of at the time of the collision.
Driver was arrested and charged with fleeing or evading police, assault, wanton endangerment, criminal mischief, receiving stolen property, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of an impairing substance, and speeding greater than 26 MPH over the limit. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail by the McCracken County Sheriff's Office.
