The deadline for reserving a copy of the upcoming McCracken County Bicentennial History Book is just a few days away, and folks are encouraged to order their books before the October 31st registration date.

In addition, as part of the bicentennial history book project, the Paducah Ambassadors are coordinating a special effort in which businesses, churches, organizations, and families may have the history of their organization recorded in a dedicated, full-page display.

“This book will be a snapshot of the many facets of our community in 2024,” said Roy Hensel of the Paducah Ambassadors. “These special feature pages will give businesses, churches, and organizations a chance to document their story as part of our county’s bicentennial. Each full-page feature will only include photographs and information about that specific group.”

Hensel said that there will also be dedicated pages for tributes and memorials for individuals and families, past and present. The deadline for feature pages is November 15, 2024.

Additional information about the feature page program and sample pages are available through
the Paducah Ambassadors – contact Roy Hensel at (270) 559-6127 or by email  mccracken200thbook@acclaimpress.com.

Copies of the book may be reserved for only $49.95 at the McCracken County Public
Library or online at www.acclaimpress.com
