I-24 is back open after a crash Thursday on the Tennessee River bridge.

The Interstate was blocked for about 4 hours at  mile marker 31 near the Livingston/Marshll county line. Marshall County Emergency Management confirmed that the crash in the bridge's long-standing work zone involved three vehicles including a semi and an SUV.

Traffic was rerouted off Grand Rivers Exit 31 and returned to I-24 at Exit 27 Calvert City.

Fortunately, there were no injuries, but crews did have to clean up diesel fuel that spilled from the semi and ran down to the ground below the bridge.
