Calvert City man injured when motorcycle hits dump truck

One person was injured in a traffic accident involving a motorcycle and a dump truck on Tuesday.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said the crash occurred at the intersection of Husband Road and Old Husband Road.

A motorcycle operated by 27-year-old Marco Delgado of Calvert City struck the truck operated by 43-year-old Christopher Samples of Wingo.

Delgado was transported to an out of state hospital for treatment of serious injuries, while Samples was not hurt.
