Possible medical issue causes injury crash in Murray

A crash with injuries on Thursday evening in Murray may have been caused by a medical issue for one of the drivers.

Police were called to the two-vehicle crash on North 12th Street near the KY 121 intersection.  Officers believe a medical issue may have caused a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Sierra Kosik of Murray to cross into the oncoming lanes. Her vehicle collided with one driven by 25-year-old Tyler Underhill of Murray.

Kosik and a passenger were taken to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment of injuries.
