32nd 'Blessing of the Bikes' Sunday at Bald Knob Cross

Bald Knob Cross of Peace in southern Illinois will host its 32nd annual Blessing of the Bikes this weekend.

Hundreds of motorcyclists will gather at Alto Pass in Union County on Sunday for a blessing at one of the region’s most iconic landmarks.

The event will feature ongoing blessings from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch and refreshments will be available on-site, provided by the Christian Motorcyclist Association. T-shirts will also be available at the welcome center.

Bald Knob Cross is also the site for the annual blessing of the Jeeps, and the blessing of police cruisers.
