4-6 Medium firm ripe tomatoes
2 green onions
3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 heaping tablespoon light brown sugar
Salt
Ground black pepper
Fresh parsley leaves
8 fresh basil leaves

Cut tomatoes into wedges. Slice green onions (cutting off roots). Combine tomatoes and onions. Whisk together oil, vinegar, dried basil leaves, sugar, salt and pepper. Pour dressing over tomato and onion mixture. Sprinkle with parsley and fresh basil. Refrigerate for an hour or two. Toss right before serving.
