I recently graduated from the Shawnee Wellness Assistance Therapy Training (SWATT) program. Project Hope is partnering with Shawnee Correctional Center in this program that allows inmates to teach shelter dogs basic obedience commands as well as house or crate train them. The goal is to place the dog with a veteran or someone with a disabilities as a companion or therapy dog.
