Lourdes Visitor Policy Changes Today
By West Kentucky Star Staff
PADUCAH - Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital has changed its visitor policy beginning today.

The hospital says visitation hours in non-COVID 19 units will be 6 a.m.-7 p.m.

Patients can only have one visitor at a time.

Visitors must wear mask at all times while inside the hospital walls and perform hand hygiene frequently.

They must also agree to symptom screening and agree not to visit if the screening finds symptoms of illness.

Food purchased by visitors must be eaten in the patient's room. The only time a mask is not required is when a visitor is eating or drinking.

Visitors wishing to see a patient who already has a visitor must wait in their vehicle. Waiting is not permitted in the plaza area.

COVID-19 and Behavioral Health units are not accepting visitors at this time.

Critical Care Units may have special restrictions in place. Please call before visiting.

The hospital recommends that anyone at high risk for severe illness, such as older adults or those with serious underlying conditions not visit at this time.
