Several area nursing homes have been shipped personal protective equipment by the federal government.

Shipments to over 15,000 facilities were authorized and coordinated by the White House Coronavirus Task Force and FEMA. Each home will get a 14-day supply of PPE.

The first wave of shipments has already begun and another will take place in June, with 608,000 pieces of eye protection, 6.9 million masks, 6.4 million gowns, and 31.4 million pairs of gloves being sent.

Fulton Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fulton
Shady Lawn Nursing and Rehabilitation in Cadiz
River's Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa
Concordia Healthcare Center - Heritage Manor in Mayfield
Salem Springlake Health and Rehabilitation Center in Salem
Christian Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pembroke
Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Bardwell
