The restaurant in the former Whaler's Catch building will feature bayou-style Cajun food, including blackened, grilled and fried seafood, po'boys, etouffee, and gumbo. The restaurant will also offer classic favorites like burgers, ribs, and steaks.
The long-awaited opening comes after a complete renovation of the property, including a casual, open-concept restaurant space with indoor and outdoor dining and a full bar.
Broussard's is based out of Cape Girardeau, Missouri where it has been a staple since 1986 when Barron and Kathy Broussard opened a restaurant that offered their family recipes from the Louisiana bayou.
