Lourdes Hospital and McCracken County Public Schools have partnered together for the naming rights to the high school’s new track and soccer field complex, which will be called Lourdes Field.

“We are very excited about this new partnership, said Steven Grinnell, Lourdes President & CEO. “Lourdes is committed to building a healthier community. With naming “Lourdes Field,” our goal is to promote active lifestyles and wellness among our students and athletes,” added Grinnell.

In addition to Lourdes Field, this partnership also includes a presence at Marquette Stadium, Strawberry Hills Pharmacy Arena, baseball and tennis facilities.

“Lourdes Field is an investment for the community to better serve our families. The new McCracken County High School, the teaching staff, and sports facilities have significantly raised the bar for our region.  Lourdes is honored to associate our organization with such progress and excellence,” said Grinnell.

The McCracken County Board of Education entered into a five-year agreement valued at $10,000 annually with Lourdes for naming rights to the track and soccer field complex. The first soccer game to be played at Lourdes Field is set for August.
