The Murray State University Paducah Regional Campus invites the Paducah-McCracken County area to a community appreciation day celebration on Friday, July 19.

The festivities kick off with a cookout at 4 p.m. at the Paducah campus, located at 4430 Sunset Avenue. Enjoy hot dogs, chips and drinks plus ice cream, courtesy of the Paducah Bank WOW! Wagon. Kids are invited to play in an inflatable “Jurassic Park” bounce house.

Following the cookout is a screening of the film “Jurassic Park,” with free popcorn for the kids. Guests are encouraged to meet with University advisors and learn more about earning their bachelor’s or master’s degree in Paducah.

Murray State’s Paducah campus offers in-person or online classes, with undergraduate and graduate degree programs and certificates available across the board. Anyone interested in becoming a Racer can apply for free that night.

"This event was planned to provide fun activities for Paducah and McCracken County residents to show our appreciation of the support that has been given to Murray State's Paducah Regional Campus,” said Dan Lavit, executive director of the Murray State Center for Adult and Regional
Education. “We hope you will join us for the festivities."
