Dr. Craig Carter, Kentucky Education Association UniServ director, thanked Dublin for always listening to concerns, and asking for evidence to support employee concerns. Dr. Carter and GCESPA president Matthew Powell recognized her for making students her top priority in all that she does.
Carter said that he has witnessed Dublin in action, ensuring that employees fulfill their job descriptions, as the Graves County Board of Education has approved. An effective superintendent realizes that a district is not about the superintendent, Carter said. Instead, an effective superintendent realizes it is about the students and working with all stakeholders. Carter noted that Dublin is indeed an instructional leader.
He concluded, "She knows that the most important job of the Graves County School District is to make sure students are learning and achieving at high levels."
