Special Events Coordinator Molly Tomasallo-Johnson says, “Last year we held the Holiday Farmers’ Market at the Cherry Civic Center. This year, the event has a new and exciting venue, the Expo Center. While you are shopping for homemade and homegrown goods, you can also enjoy the Baptist Health Ice in the Expo. This indoor ice skating rink is a perfect complement to the holiday shopping fun.”
Free photos with Santa will be available in addition to free carriage rides from the market around downtown Paducah. Plus, the Knights of Columbus will be4pm selling Christmas trees.
Tomasallo-Johnson adds, “Since the Parks Department acquired the Farmers’ Market in 2014, we have worked to increase the number and types of vendors. It has more than tripled in size with around 60 vendors participating in this year’s Farmers’ Market season. For the Holiday Farmers’ Market, you will be able to buy items from many of those same wonderful vendors.”
In November, the Kentucky Recreation & Parks Society honored the Paducah Farmers’ Market with the Outstanding Program for 2016 Award.
