Up to 10,000 rubber ducks will be released onto the water, and individual ducks will win prizes for their adopting humans.
First place wins $1,000 and 2nd place wins $500.
You may still adopt a duck today for $5 or opt for a "quack pack" of six ducks for $25. Go to the link below the story to donate. You may also adopt ducks today at Noble Park until 2 p.m.
Proceeds from the PaDucky Derby will benefit the Merryman House, a non-profit organization who offers residential and outreach services to victims of intimate partner abuse and their dependents.
