The Paducah Symphony Orchestra has announced the official music lineup for the 2015 Lower Town Arts & Music Festival on May 15-16. This year's event will include a lineup of local and regional musicians featuring jazz, bluegrass, folk, acoustic, blues, funk, rock and full performance by the Paducah Symphony Orchestra. 

This year's headliners are The Features, a five piece indie rock group from Nashville, and the Legendary Shack Shakers, celebrating their 20th year together and fronted by local musician/writer/artist JD Wilkes. 

More highlighted music for this year's festival include Nashville rock n' roll power trio SIMO, performing Friday evening following Louisville's avant-garde jazz fusion group D'arkestra. On Saturday, St. Louis blues and roots band The Loot Rock Gang will perform, along with up and coming Eastern Kentucky songwriter Tyler Childers and his band The Foodstamps.

Local musicians for the 2015 festival include Jessica Lee Wilkes, Gideon's Rifle, Chris Black, Lew Jetton, Suspicious River, The Savage Radley, Leonard the Band, Paducah Jazz Ensemble, Drunken Poets, Red Ember, Big Atomic and The Wheelhouse Rousters.

Other notable happenings at the festival include the Children's Tent, Top Potter competition, performances by Paducah Improv and River City Poetry, and over 50 artist booths! The Lower Town Arts & Music Festival takes place May 15-16 in the Lower Town Arts District of Paducah, KY.
