Help Send Kids to College at Trivia Night Aug. 24

If you like trivia, good food and a great cause, come to Mayfield and test your knowledge while helping students get an education.

A trivia night fundraiser will be held Thursday, August 24, to benefit scholarships for Mayfield and Graves County High School seniors. The event will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Purchase Players Building, 302 West Water St. Former Graves County Sheriff and local history buff John Davis will emcee.

Teams of up to six are welcome. The entry fee is $20 per person, which includes a meal catered by Carr’s Steakhouse. Team table advertising sponsorships are $25 each.

If you don’t want to be a part of the competition, you can still come watch the action and enjoy the meal for $10. 

Proceeds benefit the Graves County Democratic Women Scholarship Fund, which provides a scholarship to a graduating senior from both the Mayfield and Graves County High Schools.
