The Parks & Recreation Department invites everyone to Paducah’s riverfront on July 20. Enjoy sounds, sunset, and summertime with Morgan Bosman hitting the stage from 6 - 7 PM and then Kyshona Armstrong from 7 - 8:30 PM. Due to recent damage to Wilson Stage, the concert will be on a stage in the floodwall opening on Water Street across from the downtown parking lot. Water Street between Broadway and Jefferson will close at 2 PM on Saturday.
Morgan Bosman's influences stem from the likes of Lauryn Hill and Corinne Bailey Rae. Her music cuts through sonic waves with singable jazzy-pop melodies and her memorable voice exudes deep, soulful roots.
Jewly Hight with the Nashville Scene says, “[Kyshona] delivers her roots-soul originals with articulate warmth and newly claimed authority.”
The free concerts, featuring a variety of music genres, are held on select Thursday and Saturday evenings this summer at the riverfront. This is the sixth year for the Riverfront Concert Series. Additional 2019 Concert dates are Thursday, August 1 and Saturday, August 17.
