"Rounding Third" at the Market House Theatre

PADUCAH - Market House Theater is currently presenting "Rounding Third", a comedy by Richard Dresser through March 21st.

"Rounding Third" is the tumultuous journey of two Little League coaches through an entire season, from their first meeting to the championship game. Don, played by MHT veteran Steve Schwetman, is a coach who believes winning is what's most important in baseball. Michael, played by MHT veteran Al Knudsen, is his assistant coach, a businessman who feels the kids should have fun while they play. These conflicting personalities instantly clash. Don's son is the team's star pitcher, while Michael's son can't catch a fly ball to save his life. The audience stands in for the team, so the coaches speak directly to them about competition, character, punctuality, and the importance of wearing the right equipment. This show is appropriate for teens and adults.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, seating inside Market House Theatre is limited. All audience members must wear masks.

"Rounding Third" will be available to stream March 18th through 21st on the streaming service Broadway on Demand.

Tickets for "Rounding Third" are $22 for adults and $14 for students. They may be purchased in advance by calling the MHT box office at 270-444-6828. For additional information, including how to stream the show, click the link below.

The theatre is on the Kentucky Avenue side of Paducah's historic Market House, 132 Market House Square.
