Mrs. Linda Faye Prescott

Mrs. Linda Faye Prescott, 82, of Murray, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray. Born on April 10, 1942, in Calloway County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Thurman Morrison and Thelma Dowdy Morrison.   
 
On March 16, 1965, Linda married Morris Prescott, and together they shared 59 years of marriage. Linda was not only a devoted wife but also a loving and caring mother and Mema.   
 
She dedicated many years of her life working at Fern Terrace of Murray Assisted Living Facility before retiring. Linda was also a member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church.   
 
In her spare time, she loved to read and cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Wood, and her brothers, Shelby Morrison, and Randy Morrison.
 
Survivors include her husband, Morris Gordon Prescott of Murray, Kentucky; they were married for 59 years; one daughter, Pamela Oakley Paschall and husband Shane of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Quentin Gerard Prescott and wife Dawn of Henderson, Kentucky; three sisters, Wanda Evans of Murray, Kentucky, Ann Mathis of Benton, Kentucky, and Gaynell Pritchett of Murray, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Adam Prescott and wife Whitney, Jacob Oakley, Jade Oakley, Emily Reeves (Peirre), and Allen Reeves; as well as three great grandchildren, Ellie Prescott, Abigail Peirre, and Marley Peirre.
 
Private family services will be held.
